Okay, I’ve been a fan of this series for years, but I’ve been so disappointed with the last few books, this one included.  The basic story line is okay, but you can’t help but feel like the author’s heart isn’t in it anymore.  As you trudge through the material, it feels like a freshman term paper where they’re just randomly going back to sections and adding bullshit to try to make the required word count.  Many sections were disjointed, superfluous, and/or redundant.  She spends pages having characters explain to other characters what just happened so the reader ends up having to basically re-read the same scene twenty times.  Scenes that could have been engrossing or at least character developing are skimmed over or skipped all together.  The relationships and characters that built this series feel flat.  It just seemed like lazy writing.  A waste of money.
